How to Enter Discount Subtotals

How to add Discounts that have subtotal?

Go to >Work>Yachts

1. Choose tab Invoice
2. Select-Discount have subtotals
3. Choose- Apply

How are subtotals calculated?

Most charters have a setting to calculate subtotals on discounts, for example,

1. the base price is 2.220,00 eur
2. If you check which discount it has on Price Quote
3. go to tab Discount and you will see it has two discounts (5%)  included:

The system calculates it in such a way as to deduct the first discount of 5% from the base price

Base price (2.200,00) minus discount (5%)

2200-5%= 2.090,00

Now 2.090,00 becomes the new base price for calculation so it adds another discount (5%)

2.090,00-5%=1.985,50

So if you check discounts which are calculated on base price are 5% + 5%  but  this is not 10% but 9.75%

Decrease from 2200 to 1.985,50 is -9,75%

Here's how to do it in the Web application:

You go to "Settings" (1) > "Reservation Settings" (2) > "Invoice" (3)

Select "Discounts have subtotals", mark the checkbox and click "Save".
