Once you enter your fleet into the system and if your fleet is all based in the same base, the system can offer only that base as a start and end point of any booking since it is the only base that has boats based in it.
If you want to have more bases in the system to be more flexible in your bookings, for example if you want to use one-way bookings, you will have to open other bases that you want to use.
If you don't have real boats in other bases you can use boats that only serve as placeholders for them.
So, enter a new "dummy" boat. This boat can be of any model and it doesn't need to have prices, equipment or anything since it's purpose is to serve as a placeholder for a base.
1. Select dummy boat
2. Name the boat appropriately to distinguish it from the actual fleet on first sight
3. Select the base you wish to have available in the system.
It's important to place checks on:
4. Disable booking
5. Disable on Web
6. Disable yacht distribution since this boat is not supposed to be visible anywhere.
7. Press Apply when you are done.
Once you set up the placeholder boat, the system will let you select the base for which you entered a placeholder boat in Reservations in From base and To base dropdowns.
Here's how to do it in the Web Application:
Go to Settings (1) - yacht_settings (2),
click New (1) and from the popup window select any boat model (2) and click Confirm (3).
After you've created the boat (1), select it and rename it (2) so you know it's just a placeholder for your new base (3). Scroll a little bit down and place checks on: Disable booking (4), Disable on CBM (5), Disable on Web (6), Disable yacht distribution (7), Enable for tasks (8) and press Save (9). Now the system will let you select the base for which you entered a placeholder boat in Reservations in From base and To base dropdowns.
