To setup new IMAP mail account in Thunderbird click on Tools (1.) menu and then on Account Settings (2.)
Then, to add a new account click on Account Actions (1.) and Add Mail Account (2.)
In next step enter Your name (1.), Email address you are setting up (2.) and provided Password (3.). Place the check on Remember password (4.) and click on Continue (5.)
Now Thunderbird will try to find configuration automatically. You can ignore that and click on Manual config (1.).
Set Incoming (1.) as follows:
IMAP / mail.mmksystems.com / 143 / None / Normal password
Set Outgoing (2.) as follows:
SMTP / mail.mmksystems.com / 587 / STARTTLS / Normal password
Verify the Username and enter the correct one if required (3.) and press Done (4.)
Finally you will get a warning that incoming mail.mmksystems.com does not use encryption.
This is nothing to worry about, it is simply a notification that incoming server does not use encryption so simply place a check that you understand the risks (1.) and click Done (2.) to complete the setup.
