Booking Manager has been able to send crew lists to e-crew for quite a while and while this was an easy and convenient way to send crew lists it posed a problem to send crew lists if you had boats in management and owners used their own login for e-crew since there was only on username and password available for entry into the system.
Now this feature has been has been expanded and you can enter e-crew usernames and passwords for each boat individually and even create multiple users to send to the e-crew if there are several operators of Booking Manager.
Setting the individual e-Crew credentials for the individual boatsIn setting the individual login, your global settings in company settings do not need to be changed. They will remain in function for any boat that has no individual settings.
Go to Work > Yachts, select the boat for which you want to set the username and password (1.) and click on e-Crew tab. Then remove the check from Use global settings (3.) to activate the fields and enter e-Crew username (4.) and password (5.) and press Apply (6.). Now for such a boat the credentials entered on the boat will be valid instead of the global settings entered in Company settings.
Setting the e-Crew login credentials for specific usersYou can go one step further and setup login credentials for specific users if you have several operators that work in LBM.
Click on New (1.) to open the address book, select the appropriate user group (2.), select a user (3.) and press Choose (4.).
Repeat the procedure for each required boat.
Now select the user (1.) and enter the assignwd e-Crew username (2.) and password (3.), double click to enter the correct MUP id for the base (4.) and press Apply (5.). Repeat the procedure for each required user.
