With Booking Manager managing your options is easy and you can do it on your own.
To find the Options Editor, go to Settings (1) - Prices (2) - Options Editor (3)
Same as in the local Booking Manager application, press "+" (1) to open a new option, select the New Option (2) and enter the Name (3), choose the option kind (4) - whether your option will be a fixed amount or a percentage which will be calculated from the base price. If you choose percentage, you can also choose that the percentage is going to be calculated from the discounted price.
Next you can set the Price (5) and the currency (6) and whether it is paid by booking, week, day, night or hour (7).
You can also set the Tax for the option if it's different than the tax rate from the Reservation settings and whether the option is obligatory (8) or not.
Also you can choose if it's Custom quantity (9)
You can also set the specific sailing (10) or order (11) period if it applies.
You can choose Duration (12) of extra, it can be Any, Daily or Custom and for how many Persons (13) it applies.
A new feature is that you can now choose the extras to be applied for Adults (14), Children (15) and Seniors (16).
When you are done press Save.
You can also customize your option in the web application.
Click on the tab Advanced (1). You can further customize the availability of the option. It can be valid in specific base (2), for a specific kind (3), type (4) or product (5). It can be tied to a specific Equipment item (6) and you can set Payment preference (7) to be default (usually means payable in base on arrival) or Payable on invoice. You can set the unit (8) for the extra and enter the available quantity (9) of the extra if it is a limited item. In the Category (10) field, you can enter the name of the category the extra belongs to if needed.
Another important field is the Valid for yachts (11) field. There you can choose for which yachts the extra is going to be applied. You can also set the extra to be valid for certain Sailing areas (12) or Bases (13) and you can also choose if the option is going to include extra options (14).
In the Description tab (1), you're able to add a description to your option type so you can better describe it or if it's for example a Service Pack, you can write what it includes. The description will be visible to agencies below the option type on the Web Application.
