In Booking Manager you are able to see and monitor various events like expired options, options that are about expire, double bookings, overdue payments and others...
This is a very useful feature for managing overdue payments, either first or second payments and sending the payment reminders.
Setting the options for Events
Once you open the Booking manager, by default, you are able to see all events that are happening today or in next few days.
If your events contain too much data that is not required you can remove from view what you do not want to see.
Go to Preferences > General options > Event options (1.). Then place a check on what you do not want to display (2.) and press Apply (3.) when done.
How to manage overdue payments in the event window
The Events will notify you about, among other things, about first or second payments that are overdue.
If you want to see the options you will need to use the filter (1.), find Payments (2.) and select only first, only second or all overdue payments.
Once you filtered the desired list, select the payment (3.) and click on magnifying glass icon (4.)
After you clicked on the icon the Reservation editor will open with the selected reservation highlighted (1.) and Payment tab open (2.)
Now you can review the payments to see whether they were never made or if they were made, but with insufficient amount
After the review, you can proceed to payment analyzer and send a payment reminder to your client.
