How to create option on waiting

Booking Manager enables you to put the second option on top of the existing one and the second one will automatically become the active option if the first one is not confirmed, expires or is cancelled.

Opening the Option on waiting from the main screen

Opening an Option in waiting is easy. If you find an option in a requested period select it (1.), click the right button of your mouse to open the menu and select New option on waiting (2.)

After this the Reservation editor will open with Option on waiting status selected in your filter (1.) and the option itself selected (2.)

You are unable to alter or change anything while the option is in this status.

Opening the Option on waiting from the booking sheet

The same procedure applies if you want to open an option on waiting from the booking sheet.
If the period that interests you has already an option, select it (1.), click the right button of your mouse to open the menu and select New option on waiting (2.).

After this, the Reservation editor will open with Option on waiting status selected. 

Handling Options on waiting

Two things can happen with Option on waiting

The first is that the original option is confirmed. In this case, the option on waiting will automatically be deleted.

Second is that the original option is canceled or expired. In this case, the option is waiting will automatically become active.

This means that Options on waiting are handling themselves.

Disabling option on waiting

Options on waiting are under your control, so they can be disabled in preferences. Go to Preferences > Reservation settings and in Defaults (1.) remove the check from Enable options on waiting (2.) and press Apply (3.).
