How to synchronize Exchange rates

Default currency on the Booking Manager portal is Euro, and for most of the European agencies this was enough to send offers to their clients, but more and more agencies want to send professional offers to their clients which are outside the Euro zone so Booking Manager allows you to manually introduce new currencies or automatically sync their exchange rates with the European Central Bank.

How to check Exchange Rates in Booking Manager Portal

To check Exchange rates go to

My Account- Exchange rates

You will see the following columns:

1. Code- Codes According to ISO-4217 https://www.iban.com/currency-codes
2. The exchange rate-it can be set up manually or automatically
3. Last modified- Date when the exchange rate was last modified

How to set up automatic synchronization

If you set up automatic synchronization, Booking Manager will synchronize exchange rates according to European Central Bank 

Go to >My Account >Reservation settings> Defaults

1. Drag the pointer to Yes in the field Automatically synchronize exchange rates on startup
2. Select Save

How to add new currency and manually add exchange rate 

If you want to add currency and exchange rate which is not on the list, go to My Account> Exchange rates

1. Go to New
2. Add Currency code 
3. Select OK

After that enter exchange rate to EUR

1. Click on the currency you've added and enter exchange rate
2. Select Save

How to Change Exchange rate Manually

To change the exchange rate manually, go to My Account>Exchange rates

1. On the column Exchange rate
2. Find a currency you want to change, double click on it and enter conversion rate
