How to Use the Crew Constellation on your Discount and Extras

Booking Manager gives you the ability to customize your discounts and extras based on the age of your guests.

How to Use the Crew Constellation Function

On your local application click on Setup - Discount types:

In your discount editor, set the trigger (1), the sailing period (2), the order period (3), and then set the age categories for which you want to offer a discount (4).

The selectable categories are the following:

1 Adults - Ages 18 and above

2 Children - Ages 0 to 17

3 Seniors - Ages 65+

The "from" and "to" fields indicate the number of passengers belonging to a specific category required to apply the discount. In the example above, 5 adults are required to apply the discount.

If the "from" and "to" fields remain empty the system will not take those factors into consideration when applying the discount. In the example given, the system will apply the discount to all bookings with 5 adults and any number of children and seniors.

You can view the discount on the main page of your application by clicking on More (1) and entering the value in one (2) or more of the Crew Constellation categories.

Note that the same logic applies to adding a new extra that you want to make available only to certain categories. 

How the Discount is Visible to Agencies

To obtain any discounts associated with Crew Constellation, agents must use the "WHO" filter and enter the number of customers per category. 

Following the example we gave above, the agent will receive the discount if they enter 5 in the "from" and "to" fields.

The discount will be displayed as follows on the main page of the portal and in the Booking step:

Click on Setup - Prices - Discounts Editor
