How does the Client Book a Boat on the Agency Website

Every Charter Operator or Charter Agency using the Booking Manager can have a Search Engine Widget to enable their guests to search and book boats online directly on their website

Available iframes are Small search, Large search, Last Minute, Short Term and One Way.
The following text will describe how each works

1. Searching the boat

The first step in any booking process is of course the search. The Booking Manager search engine enables you to select multiple parameters regarding the location of the boats, time period of the charter, boat type and various characteristics.

2. Selecting the boat

Once search results are displayed the results can be browsed through by page (1.). Also, the number of shown results per page (2.) can be changed, the parameter by which the results are listed (3.) and the order of results (4.) can be changed also. If you change anything in the selects (steps 2, 3 or 4), results will have to be refreshed by pressing the refresh list (5.) button.

If you want to start over press New Search (6.).

If you found the boat you wish to book, press Next (7.)

3. Completing the booking request

Once you have reached the Booking Request stage you will be required to select the number of persons (1.), you can select optional extras if desired (2.) and fill in the Client info (3.).

Press either Send offer (4.) when done to send the request, Open option (5.) to open the option or Direct booking (6.) to book the boat right away.

Special Offers

Search engine can display by default three kinds of special offers, Last Minute, One Way charters and Short Term Charters.

Last Minute

Last Minute is a filtered set of results of all discounted boats available for next 4 Saturdays, where the default set of results is for next Saturday from the day you are viewing on (1.).

It contains additional filters for Country (2.) and Base (3.) which will narrow down the results after you select the country and/or base and Search (4.).

You continue the booking process the same way as if it was searched through the engine, by pressing Next (5.)

Short Term Charter

Booking Manager continually scans booking lists of charter operators and if it finds gaps in them in a certain period (1.) for durations between 3 and 6 days it will automatically display such results as Short Term charters (2.).

One Way Charter

Booking Manager also continually scans booking lists of charter operators for possible One way charters and if it finds them in certain period (1.) it will automatically display such results as One Way charters (2.) in results.
