Booking Manager enables you to send emails directly through the application. You can connect Local Booking Manager to your mail client so the system will send mails through it.
How to connect the application to Outlook
NB In order for the application to recognize Outlook both must be working with the same number of bits ( 32 or 64) so you must have installed the correct version of the application.
To check the number of bits of your outlook you can go in Office Account --> About Outlook and you will be able to see whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit Outlook after the version number.

In order to establish connection to mail client, go to Preferences --> Company settings (1), click on Email settings tab (2.) and select your mail client from the dropdown (3.). You can choose between Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002/2003 and Outlook 2007/2010. Press Apply (4.) to finish connecting LBM to Outlook.

How to connect the application to your mail client without Outlook
If you do not have any of the offered mail clients installed, you can use Direct Email and configure manually the email to be sent through your local application.
To do so you need to go to Preferences > Company settings (1), click on Email settings tab (2.), select Direct Email (3.) and enter the information about your email account.
You will be required to enter your name, your email address, the username (which usually is your email address), your password and to select your mail provider from the dropdown (4.).
If your email provides is not from the list you can choose Custom as service and you can manually insert the SMTP server and the connection security. The Port is automatically inserted when you choose the security.
Once you have inserted all the fields you will need to click in test email settings (1.) and the application will inform you if the settings are correct.
Once the email is tested correctly you can click on apply (2.) and start sending emails from the application.
