Booking Manager templates allow you to create a unique voucher and offer your clients the option to reschedule rather than cancel the booking. This article one concrete example of the flexible Documents and Templates functionality in Booking Manager.
Using this feature will allow you to automate the process of sending out vouchers in just a few clicks, and set-up the template that is fully customisable to fit your company, you can add your logo, the colours recognisable to your brand and a message that fits your liking.

Codes in Booking Manager
Open Booking Manager application.
Go to Preferences (1.) > Message (2.)
On the right side you will see fields:
Client, Common, Contract, Guest, Owner, Reservation, Skipper, Yacht, Yachtmodel.
Each field contains codes which can be merged in Voucher and automatically filled from Booking Manager application.
Choose for example Reservation (3.)
Find a field about reservation that you want to be automatically filled and mark it, for example Reservation ID (4.)
Drag with mouse into white field (5.) and copy it
Creating Template in Word
Create your own personalized unique document in Word, for example with the name of guest, address, info about your company, logo, photo, marina description, location or general conditions...etc..
On the place where you want to be merged field type
Ctrl+F9 (6.) to merge field.
Right click with mouse and choose Edit field then MergeField (7.)
Into Field name paste code you've copied from application. (8.)
Choose ok (9.)

After Word template is created, save it locally on your PC.
Merging Word Template with Booking Manager
Open Booking Manager application, Go to Work (10.)> Reservations (11.)
Find reservation for which you are issuing voucher.
And choose tab Documents (12.) >New (13.) select document to merge and upload it from your PC(14.)
Upload it from your PC.
This is how it looks like when merged, ready to be sent to your client.
